The problem is, you should not repress anything.

Sure we can control how much anger we feel for example. But we have to react at some point.

Being able to embrace your emotions such as anger will lead you to being able to deal with it better, rather than something disastrous.

If you try to be peaceful all the time, your left wide open. Until everyone else is peaceful, you will be against the grain.

The secret is to be honest with yourself.
