I’m very glad you got my point. The majority of Scientology critics are critics not because it opposes their own religion (or, in the case of atheists, lack of), but rather, because of the behavior of Scientology management. Blackmail, extortion, intimidation tactics, human rights abuses of child labor and human trafficking, breaking up families, bribery, abusing the law, fraud..
It is, in my opinion, the most corrupt organization in the world.
Very well stated and I agree whole heartedly. I simply wanted to stress the fact to those people of different faiths that frown down upon these tactics, that once upon a time it was their religion too that did such things. But it definitely does not justify it happening again and now. In that case it would be like saying its ok to start slaverly again because we had it before. None of the mainstream religions practice and encourage anything to the extent fair game is applied. The majority of these religions do not apply fairgame tactics as institutionalized policies;Scientology does.
Activities this sect is currently participating in haven’t been seen since the dark ages. It was wrong then and it’s wrong now. Just because people used to burn witches, heretics, and atheists, does that make a new religion doing the same thing today alright? No, of course it doesn’t.

I have to agree, any major religion/ spiritual movenment has been considered a cult at one point or another, including christianity. I personally don’t see scientology doing anything to people that others have not in the past. Personally, I don’t believe in scientology or Christianity or any form of God or any specific way to gain peace. Perhaps thats why I can look at it without bias.

Well lets see. Jesus was crucified because he was seen as a “cultist”. Lots of good folks & groups have been repeatedly attacked for being something a few others didnt like. It wasnt his mistake. I was glad the publisher mistakes were discovered and I was happy to buy my new set. In other churches you tithe and all you get is a sermon. I tithe and i get the data I want in an incredible library that I can refer back to over & over.
